Our sustainable business model in the fields of wind energy, photovoltaics and energy storage solutions is both a commitment and a responsibility for us. At the same time, we're dedicated to responsible corporate governance throughout our entire value chain. In our day-to-day business, we take into account not only economic interests but also environmental, social and societal concerns. We strive to create sustainable value for our customers, employees, investors and suppliers, for local communities and for our planet.

We have adopted a comprehensive ESG strategy through 2030. Building on a business model that is firmly committed to climate protection, the strategy specifically addresses other key sustainability aspects in the areas of environment, social affairs and governance (Environment, Social, Governance).

As part of our strategic development in 2025, all business units were actively involved in defining goals and measures. Our goal is to integrate ESG holistically and effectively into our business purpose and all relevant business processes.

To identify the material topics, we conducted a multi-step process based on the dual materiality approach in accordance with ESRS.

Transparency Through ESG Ratings

Various ESG rating agencies regularly monitor and evaluate companies’ sustainability performance. In the interest of transparency, we present the results with the goal of consistently maintaining or improving them in the coming years.

MSCI:

A (AAA to CCC)

MSCI is a financial services company and a global leader in providing indices, analytics, and ratings. The ESG rating assesses a company's sustainability performance and assigns a rating on a scale from AAA to CCC.

ISS:

B (A+ to D-)

As one of the leading providers of proxy voting services, ISS offers ESG ratings and sustainability analyses for investors and companies. The ESG rating assesses companies’ governance and sustainability risks and assigns them a score ranging from A+ to D-.
