Inauguration of the Bebensee wind farm: PNE invites you for a behind-the-scenes tour
- Invitation to an on-site discussion offering insights into the technology, project timeline, and operations
- Five state-of-the-art wind turbines provide a climate-friendly power supply for approximately 33,000 households annually
Bebensee, June 1, 2026 – The Bebensee Wind Farm has been in operation since October 2025 and contributes to the supply of electricity from renewable energy sources. Now, the PNE Group, together with project partners, invites you to learn about the project on-site. The event will take place on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. directly at one of the wind farm’s turbines.
The wind farm was developed and constructed on land in the Schleswig-Holstein municipalities of Mözen and Bebensee and comprises five Nordex N163 turbines with a total capacity of 34 MW. The generation capacity is sufficient to supply approximately 33,000 three-person households with green electricity annually.
At the end of 2025, the Bebensee Wind Farm was sold to Encavis, a Hamburg-based wind and solar farm operator. The PNE Group remains closely involved with the project, however: energy consult GmbH, a member of the PNE Group, is taking over technical and commercial operations management and will continue to serve as the local point of contact.
Insights into the development and operation of the Bebensee wind farm
The event is aimed at interested parties from the region, including local residents, landowners, project partners, and representatives from politics and government. The focus will be on information regarding the development and implementation of the wind farm, as well as the technical functioning of wind turbines.
Attendees will have the opaportunity to view a wind turbine up close on site—sturdy footwear is required. Refreshments and a space for conversation and discussion round out the event.
"With this event, we would like to thank everyone who supported and accompanied the project," says Claus Hoffmann, project manager during the construction phase. "At the same time, it offers an opportunity to experience the wind farm together with many interested parties on site and to engage in conversation with one another," adds Stephan Eidinger, Head of Land Management at PNE.
