PNE invites you to the inauguration of the Herbsleben-Dachwig wind farm

• Inauguration ceremony with hands-on technology, culinary offerings, and behind-the-scenes insights
• Two wind turbines supply green electricity for around 6,000 three-person households 

Dachwig/Döllstädt, September 12, 2025 – The Herbsleben-Dachwig wind farm has been feeding green electricity into the grid since mid-January 2025 – now PNE AG, together with project participants and local residents, is inviting guests to the official inauguration ceremony. The event will take place on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Mühlenhof Bosse in Dachwig.

The two Nordex N149 turbines have a total rated output of 11.4 MW and can together supply around 6,000 three-person households with climate-friendly electricity. The wind farm was built on agricultural land north of the municipalities of Dachwig and Döllstädt. Following the successful completion of construction, PNE would like to express its special thanks to all its supporters.

Inauguration ceremony with a look behind the scenes
The event is aimed at all interested parties from the region – in particular residents, property owners, project participants, and municipal representatives. In addition to a varied culinary offering, PNE will provide informative insights into the development of the wind farm project, the technology used, and how the wind turbines work.

In addition to a tour of a turbine – for which sturdy footwear is required – PNE will provide information on site about the construction phase, project development, and operational management. An attractive supporting program with music, an accompanying photo documentation, and culinary offerings will ensure a pleasant atmosphere. A shuttle service will run from the event location to the wind farm.

"We look forward to many discussions and an open exchange with the region," adds Benjamin Nowak, project manager during the development phase.

Operational management by the PNE Group
The wind farm will remain in the PNE Group's own operating portfolio. Operational management will be handled by energy consult GmbH, a company within the group. This ensures professional support with short communication channels and sound operational experience.
